If you accept this job, you will of course need to be monitored by a qualified medical staff member. Usually the technician is shadowed by a registered nurse while performing the duties. In some cases, a doctor might also want to watch a tech to make certain they will be doing the correct procedures.
The technician needs to be carefully watched during the early stages because it could be catastrophic if they make a mistake.
